横纹小鹦鹉（Bolborhynchus lineola）是新大陆鹦鹉中体型最小的种类之一，栖息于从墨西哥南部至厄瓜多尔西部的中南美洲海拔1200至3000米的湿润山地森林。其绿色底色上特有的黑色横纹羽毛提供了出色的林冠伪装。常结成小群觅食种子和浆果，尤其偏爱竹林。相较于其他鹦鹉较为安静低调，野外研究甚少，部分鸟类爱好者有饲养记录。
