Pedobacter suwonensis is a gram-negative bacterium in the family Sphingobacteriaceae, originally isolated from soil in Suwon, South Korea. Like other members of the genus, it is an aerobic organism with hydrolytic capabilities and is found in diverse terrestrial environments. Its conservation status is not evaluated.
