황갈색가슴탠저(Pipraeidea melanonota)는 따뜻한 황갈색 아랫면과 대비되는 청회색·검은색 윗면을 지닌 중형 탠저로, 콜롬비아에서 아르헨티나까지 안데스 산지 해발 1,000~2,600m의 습윤 산림 가장자리, 2차 림, 정원 생울타리에 서식한다. 쌍 또는 소집단을 이루어 중층 수관에서 열매를 먹으며 혼성 무리와 함께 이동하는 경우가 많다. 넓은 고도 범위에 걸쳐 안정적인 안데스 개체군을 보유하고 있어 최소관심으로 등재되어 있다.
