Tigre
El felino mas grande del mundo, el tigre puede superar los 300 kg y habita bosques desde el Extremo Oriente ruso hasta el Sudeste Asiatico. Es un depredador solitario de emboscada con su caracteristico pelaje naranja y negro a rayas que proporciona camuflaje entre la luz filtrada. Esta en Peligro Critico, con menos de 4.000 individuos que quedan en estado silvestre debido a la caza furtiva y la deforestacion.
Xylaria corniformis es un ascomiceto carbonáceo en forma de maza que produce estrómalos negros, firmes, en forma de cuerno o asta de ciervo, sobre madera en descomposición en hábitats forestales tropicales y subtropicales. Es un descomponedor saprotrófico de la madera que contribuye a la degradación de la lignocelulosa en los ecosistemas forestales. Clasificado como En Peligro, las amenazas incluyen la deforestación tropical y la pérdida de hábitats de bosque antiguo.
