Altererythrobacter ishigakiensis is a Gram-negative, aerobic bacterium isolated from the Ishigaki Islands of Japan, belonging to the family Erythrobacteraceae. Like other Altererythrobacter species, it produces carotenoid pigments and may play roles in carbon cycling in subtropical marine ecosystems.
