Altererythrobacter ishigakiensis é uma bactéria gram-negativa e aeróbia isolada das Ilhas Ishigaki do Japão, pertencente à família Erythrobacteraceae. Habita ambientes costeiros marinhos e possivelmente terrestres em contextos insulares tropicais. Como outras espécies do género, produz pigmentos carotenoides e pode desempenhar funções no ciclo do carbono em ecossistemas marinhos subtropicais.
