Rhizobium grahamii e uma bacteria gramnegativa fixadora de nitrogenio que forma nodulos radiculares em plantas leguminosas. Habita a rizosfera e os nodulos radiculares de diversas especies de leguminosas, incluindo Dalea e Leucaena em regioes mesoamericanas. Essa bacteria benefica converte o nitrogenio atmosferico em amonia biologicamente disponivel para suas plantas hospedeiras.
