알렉산드린 앵무(Psittacula eupatria)는 기원전 326년 마케도니아로 표본을 가져온 알렉산드로스 대왕의 이름을 따서 명명된 종으로, 역사적으로 가장 오래된 반려 앵무새 중 하나이다. 아프가니스탄, 파키스탄에서 동남아시아에 이르는 지역의 삼림, 초원 및 맹그로브에 서식하며, 수컷은 목 주위의 분홍색과 검정색 고리 무늬가 특징이다. 애완동물 거래를 위한 포획과 서식지 훼손으로 개체수가 감소하여 준위협(NT) 종으로 분류되며, 유럽에는 야생화된 개체군이 존재한다.
