Biscogniauxia repanda는 죽은 활엽수 수피에 내재된 자낭각이 포함된 납작하고 딱지 형태의 자좌를 형성하는 자낭균류입니다. 참나무, 밤나무 및 기타 활엽수의 죽은 가지와 줄기에 자라며 온대 및 지중해 삼림에 서식합니다. 이 부생 자낭균류는 죽은 활엽수를 분해하고 스트레스를 받거나 손상된 나무에 군생합니다.
