About

クロモモフサアシハチドリ（Eriocnemis derbyi）は、オスの特徴的な黒いもも部が白い脚の羽毛飾りと対照をなすアンデスのふさ足ハチドリです。エクアドルとコロンビアの標高1,500〜3,500 mの湿潤山地林と林縁に生息します。オスは藍紫色の尾を持つ輝く緑色の羽毛を誇示します。農業のためにアンデスの雲霧林が開拓されるにつれて個体数が減少し、準絶滅危惧（NT）に分類されています。
