Perruche à croupion rouge

A medium-sized, sexually dimorphic Australian parrot where males display vivid green plumage with bright red rump and undertail — making them one of Australia's most colorful common parrots — while females are more subdued green and olive. Found in open grasslands, scrubland, and lightly wooded country across most of Australia. They forage on grass seeds on the ground and are frequently seen at suburban bird feeders. Common and widespread with stable populations.
