About

Una alondra de tamaño mediano que debe su nombre a su distintiva cresta larga y puntiaguda, las cogujadas habitan terrenos abiertos y secos, tierras agrícolas, bordes de carretera y márgenes desérticas en Europa, el norte de África y Asia hasta China. Son aves que viven en el suelo y raramente se posan en árboles, caminan con confianza con la cresta erguida.
