Panda Gigante

El panda gigante (Ailuropoda melanoleuca) es un animal emblemático de China, célebre por su pelaje blanco y negro y su dieta basada casi exclusivamente en bambú. Su estado de conservación es vulnerable (VU), es el animal bandera de la conservación internacional de la vida silvestre, y su población ha experimentado cierta recuperación en los últimos años.

Trechispora microspora es un hongo corticiode que produce esporas muy pequenas, como indica su nombre. Crece como una costra blanca a crema delgada en la parte inferior de troncos de frondosas y coniferas en descomposicion en bosques templados y boreales. Este hongo saprotrofico descompone la madera muerta, contribuyendo al ciclo de nutrientes en los ecosistemas forestales.
