Stenotrophomonas indicatrix is a Gram-negative, rod-shaped bacterium related to the important environmental and opportunistic pathogen Stenotrophomonas maltophilia. It has been isolated from diverse soil and plant-associated environments. This aerobic chemoheterotroph degrades a wide range of organic compounds in terrestrial habitats.

Stenotrophomonas koreensis is a gram-negative, aerobic bacterium in the family Xanthomonadaceae, originally isolated from agricultural soil in South Korea. Like other Stenotrophomonas species, it is versatile in its metabolic capabilities and is found in diverse soil environments. Its conservation status is not evaluated.
