Pseudoxanthomonas daejeonensis is a yellow-pigmented, Gram-negative rod first isolated from soils near Daejeon, South Korea. It inhabits temperate terrestrial soil environments and produces xanthomonadin-related pigments. This aerobic chemoheterotroph participates in organic matter decomposition in Korean soils.
