Populations are also found in montane and highland environments at higher elevations.

Red-breasted Parakeet

They inhabit forest, mangroves, and cultivated areas, often aggregating in large flocks at fruiting trees and grain crops. Their range is one of the most fragmented among Psittacula parakeets. Widely kept in aviculture across Asia and Europe.
