Pseudoperonospora urticae is an obligate biotrophic oomycete downy mildew pathogen in the family Peronosporaceae, infecting stinging nettle (Urtica) species. It causes yellowing and chlorosis of leaves with characteristic grayish sporulation on the undersurface during moist conditions.
