Cliff Mining Bee

Common currant typically grows in moist, fertile soils in woodland edges, hedgerows, riverbanks, and disturbed habitats. The species produces clusters of small, translucent red berries that are rich in vitamin C and commonly used in jams, jellies, juices, and desserts.
