Ramaria flavescens is a large, coral-like fungus with densely branching, yellowish to buff-colored fruiting bodies resembling ocean coral. This ectomycorrhizal fungus forms mutualistic nutrient-exchange partnerships with tree roots and is considered endangered in European assessments.
