The Campbell s Mona Monkey (Cercopithecus campbelli) is a species in the genus Cercopithecus. It is currently classified as Near Threatened on the IUCN Red List. Typically found in diverse terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems.

Sphingobacterium yamdrokense is a yellow-pigmented Gram-negative rod first described from Yamdrok Lake in Tibet, China. It inhabits high-altitude lacustrine sediments and cold, alkaline lake environments of the Tibetan Plateau. This aerobic chemoheterotroph is adapted to the extreme conditions of high-altitude saline lakes.
