The Box-heades furrow bee (Halictus maculatus) is a species in the genus Halictus. Typically found in virtually all terrestrial and freshwater habitats. It is found in Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg and Sweden.

Cloud-borne aloe refers to an Aloe species native to high-elevation montane habitats in eastern or southern Africa, adapted to the misty, cloud-shrouded conditions of afromontane forest margins and rocky highland slopes.
