The Blackboard Tree (Alstonia scholaris) is a species in the genus Alstonia. It is currently classified as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List. Inhabits tropical and subtropical moist broadleaf forests and tropical and subtropical dry broadleaf forests within the Oceanian biogeographic realm.
Phormidium productum is a filamentous cyanobacterium in the family Phormidiaceae that forms expansive mats or biofilms in freshwater and marine benthic environments. Its trichomes glide within mucilaginous sheaths and contribute to primary production in shallow habitats. Its conservation status is not evaluated.
