Peronospora pulveracea is an obligate oomycete pathogen causing powdery-like downy mildew on fumitory plants in the genus Fumaria. It inhabits agricultural fields, garden margins, and disturbed habitats where Fumaria weeds occur. This plant pathogen spreads via airborne sporangia during cool, humid weather conditions.
