Found across multiple habitat types including temperate broadleaf and mixed forests, flooded grasslands and savannas, and deserts and xeric shrublands, among 5 distinct biome types spanning the Indomalayan and Palearctic realms. Populations are also found in montane and highland environments at higher elevations.
Distributed across Libya, Pakistan, and Spain.
