The Bare-legged Swiftlet (Aerodramus nuditarsus) is a species in the genus Aerodramus. It is currently classified as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List. Typically found in various aerial, terrestrial, and aquatic environments.
Sphingobacterium yamdrokense is a yellow-pigmented Gram-negative rod first described from Yamdrok Lake in Tibet, China. It inhabits high-altitude lacustrine sediments and cold, alkaline lake environments of the Tibetan Plateau. This aerobic chemoheterotroph is adapted to the extreme conditions of high-altitude saline lakes.
