Azorhizobium doebereinerae is a gram-negative bacterium in the family Xanthobacteraceae, capable of both free-living and symbiotic nitrogen fixation. It forms stem nodules on the tropical legume Sesbania rostrata and is found in tropical soils and waterlogged environments. Its conservation status is not evaluated.
