The Aspen Roller (Ancylis laetana) is a species in the genus Ancylis. It is currently classified as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List. Typically found in virtually all terrestrial and freshwater habitats. Distributed across Belgium, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.
Vibrio mimicus is a Gram-negative, curved rod closely related to Vibrio cholerae but biochemically distinct. It inhabits coastal seawater, estuaries, and shellfish in warm tropical and subtropical marine environments. This facultatively anaerobic bacterium can cause gastrointestinal illness in humans who consume contaminated raw seafood.
