The Apple-blossom Weevil (Anthonomus pomorum) is a species in the genus Anthonomus. It is currently classified as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List. Typically found in virtually all terrestrial and freshwater habitats.
Zimmermannella alba is a Gram-positive, white-pigmented actinobacterium in the family Microbacteriaceae, isolated from plant-associated or soil environments. It is aerobic and rod-shaped, forming bright white colonies on standard culture media. Its genus is named in honor of the botanist Albrecht Wilhelm Philipp Zimmermann.
