The Anthracite Bee-fly (Anthrax anthrax) is a species in the genus Anthrax. It is currently classified as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List. Typically found in virtually all terrestrial and freshwater habitats.

Trichormus variabilis is a filamentous, nitrogen-fixing cyanobacterium in the family Nostocaceae. It forms heterocysts — specialized nitrogen-fixing cells — within its trichomes and is found in freshwater, soil, and symbiotic associations. Its conservation status is not evaluated.
