The Anthracite Bee-fly (Anthrax anthrax) is a species in the genus Anthrax. It is currently classified as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List. Typically found in virtually all terrestrial and freshwater habitats.

Sphingomonas pseudosanguinis is a Gram-negative aerobic rod resembling but distinct from blood-associated sphingomonads. It has been isolated from hospital environments, clinical specimens, and diverse soils. This aerobic chemoheterotroph is occasionally an opportunistic pathogen in immunocompromised patients.
