Neidium bisulcata is a freshwater pennate diatom in the family Neidiaceae, distinguished by the presence of two longitudinal grooves (sulci) on each valve that give the genus its name. Neidium species are considered indicators of clean, low-conductivity water and are sensitive to organic pollution.
