The Amazon Darner (Anax amazili) is a species in the genus Anax. It is currently classified as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List. Typically found in virtually all terrestrial and freshwater habitats.

Vibrio mimicus is a Gram-negative, curved rod closely related to Vibrio cholerae but biochemically distinct. It inhabits coastal seawater, estuaries, and shellfish in warm tropical and subtropical marine environments. This facultatively anaerobic bacterium can cause gastrointestinal illness in humans who consume contaminated raw seafood.
