Abutilon
Typically found in diverse terrestrial habitats from tropical forests to temperate regions.
Widely distributed across Africa (Comoros, Madagascar), Asia (Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan), North America (Cuba, United States), Oceania and the Pacific (7 countries), and South America (Brazil, Colombia).
Addax
Found across multiple habitat types including tropical and subtropical moist broadleaf forests, montane grasslands and shrublands, and Mediterranean forests and woodlands, among 5 distinct biome types within the Afrotropic biogeographic realm. Populations are also found in montane and highland environments at higher elevations.
