Glowing Puffleg

A brilliantly colored puffleg hummingbird of the northern Andes from Colombia to southern Ecuador, glowing pufflegs display vivid iridescent green plumage that glows with an almost luminescent quality in bright light — inspiring the species' descriptive common name.
