One of the most popular pet parrots in the world after the budgerigar and African grey, blue-fronted amazons are recognized by their bright yellow face with blue forehead and red-orange shoulder patches. Native to central South America in Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Argentina, they inhabit forest, woodland, and palm groves.
