Dolichospermum skujaelaxum is a filamentous, gas-vacuolate, nitrogen-fixing cyanobacterium in the family Aphanizomenonaceae. It forms planktonic blooms in eutrophic freshwater lakes and reservoirs and is named in honor of the phycologist Håkan Skuja.

Dolichospermum viguieri is a filamentous, heterocystous cyanobacterium in the family Aphanizomenonaceae found in freshwater environments.
