Sphingomicrobium lutaoense is a gram-negative bacterium in the family Sphingomonadaceae, originally isolated from Ludao (Green Island), Taiwan. It is an aerobic, sphingolipid-containing microorganism associated with marine or coastal environments. Its conservation status is not evaluated.
