Enteractinococcus fodinae is a Gram-positive actinobacterium isolated from mining environments, belonging to the family Dermatophilaceae. It forms irregular cocci and is capable of aerobic growth across moderate temperature ranges. Its isolation from mine subsurface habitats highlights the remarkable diversity of bacteria adapted to extreme or mineral-rich environments.
