Pseudoxanthomonas daejeonensis is a yellow-pigmented, Gram-negative rod first isolated from soils near Daejeon, South Korea. It inhabits temperate terrestrial soil environments and produces xanthomonadin-related pigments. This aerobic chemoheterotroph participates in organic matter decomposition in Korean soils.

Pseudoxanthomonas indica is a Gram-negative, yellow-pigmented rod first isolated from soil in India. It inhabits tropical and subtropical soil environments and produces characteristic xanthomonadin pigments. This aerobic bacterium decomposes a variety of organic substrates found in its soil habitat.
