Erythrobacter pelagi is a gram-negative, aerobic bacterium in the family Erythrobacteraceae, isolated from open ocean (pelagic) environments. Like other Erythrobacter species, it produces carotenoid pigments and is adapted to oligotrophic marine conditions. Its conservation status is not evaluated.
