Colombian Speckled Tree-rat

<em>Pattonomys semivillosus</em>, the Colombian speckled tree-rat, is an arboreal rodent in the family Echimyidae distributed within Colombia. Members of the genus <em>Pattonomys</em> are associated with tropical forest canopy habitats, where their semi-arboreal lifestyle allows exploitation of fruiting trees and epiphytic vegetation.
