Sistotrema diademiferum is a resupinate basidiomycete fungus forming whitish to cream-coloured patches on dead wood and bark of broadleaf and coniferous trees in temperate forests. It is a wood decomposer contributing to nutrient cycling through saprotrophic activity on fallen branches and logs. This species is found across Europe and North America in woodland habitats.
