Roseomonas gilardii is a Gram-negative, pink-pigmented coccobacillus in the family Acetobacteraceae, primarily isolated from clinical and environmental samples including soil and water. It is occasionally associated with opportunistic infections in immunocompromised patients. Its distinctive rosy pigmentation is produced by carotenoid compounds and serves as a useful identification characteristic.
