The Bat-eared fox (Otocyon megalotis) is a species in the genus Otocyon. It is currently classified as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List. Typically found in diverse terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems.

Flagelloscypha punctiformis is a minute, hairy cup fungus with tiny white to cream-colored apothecia bearing distinctive bristle-like hairs on the outer surface. It grows on dead branches and twigs of hardwood trees in temperate European forests. This saprotrophic ascomycete decomposes dead woody plant material in its forest habitat.
