E um comensal comum na pele e nas membranas mucosas humanas em todo o mundo. Esta bacteria pode causar infeccoes em dispositivos prosteticos e bacteriemia em ambientes hospitalares.

Native to Asia, inhabiting ecosystems characteristic of the region.
