Mycena tintinnabulum e um pequeno e delicado fungo agarico da familia Mycenaceae, classificado como Pouco Preocupante (LC). Cresce em densos grupos sobre madeira morta, particularmente tocos de carvalho, durante os meses de inverno. Os seus pileos em forma de sino e o habitat caracteristico tornam-no um membro reconhecivel do genero em ecossistemas de floresta de folha larga.
