Habitat & Geographic Range
Komodo Dragon
Found across multiple habitat types including tropical and subtropical moist broadleaf forests, tropical and subtropical dry broadleaf forests, and tropical and subtropical grasslands and savannas, among 4 distinct biome types spanning the Australasia and Indomalayan realms. Populations are also found in montane and highland environments at higher elevations.
Found in Indonesia. Currently classified as Endangered on the IUCN Red List, this species faces significant conservation challenges across its range.
Native to Asia, inhabiting ecosystems characteristic of the region.

Staphylococcus gallinarum e um coco Gram-positivo coagulase-negativo da familia Staphylococcaceae, isolado pela primeira vez de aves de criacao. Faz parte do diverso genero Staphylococcus, que habita a pele e as membranas mucosas de vertebrados, e e geralmente considerado uma especie comensal. Seu nome deriva da palavra latina para galinha, refletindo sua associacao original com esse hospedeiro.
