Habitat & Geographic Range
Komodo Dragon
Found across multiple habitat types including tropical and subtropical moist broadleaf forests, tropical and subtropical dry broadleaf forests, and tropical and subtropical grasslands and savannas, among 4 distinct biome types spanning the Australasia and Indomalayan realms. Populations are also found in montane and highland environments at higher elevations.
Found in Indonesia. Currently classified as Endangered on the IUCN Red List, this species faces significant conservation challenges across its range.
Native to Europe, inhabiting ecosystems characteristic of the region.
Distributed across Norway and Sweden.

O dragão-de-komodo é o maior lagarto vivo. É encontrado apenas em algumas ilhas indonésias.
Peronospora arabidis-hirsutae e um patogeno vegetal obrigado que causa doenca de mildio em Arabidopsis e cruciferas relacionadas. Habita o tecido foliar infectado de plantas hospedeiras em ambientes temperados onde Arabidopsis e plantas relacionadas crescem. Este parasita oomiceto se dissemina atraves de esporangios assexuados durante condicoes umidas e forma oosporos persistentes em detritos vegetais infectados.
