Inocybe tjallingiorum é um cogumelo fibroso de tamanho pequeno a médio com um chapéu fibroso e sedoso de cor marrom e lâminas que amadurecem em tons acastanhados, crescendo em associação ectomicorrízica com árvores caducifólias em florestas europeias. Como a maioria das espécies de Inocybe, é considerado tóxico e não deve ser consumido. Sua distribuição centra-se em bosques temperados europeus com árvores maduras.
