Echinoderma calcicola é um cogumelo de tamanho médio com um chapéu pálido coberto de escamas escuras e pontiagudas e um estipe igualmente decorado, crescendo em pastagens calcárias e bordas de bosques na Europa. É considerado um indicador de habitats calcários antigos e ricos em espécies.
